I Shall Return
First trip to Cali since 1991. Ironically, in ‘91 I was also here to play tennis. I was 21 years young. Now I’m 54, still enjoying the sport more than ever. Here’s some photos from my trip to Los Angeles to compete in the Pacific Southwest Championships. I hope to return in 2022, as a participant in my first year in the men’s 55 division.

All Good Things Must Come to an End
It's been a busy winter of work, training, travel and matches for me. After two tournaments and 10 mixed doubles league matches, I lost tonight for the first time since December.
Training will continue, and the next event awaits in Ft Lauderdale on April 21. Hopefully, another long win streak will start there.

A Bit Too Narrow eh ?
Before I knew what damage had been done, I removed my new shoes only to discover my pinky toes had lost the battle.

Paying the Price
This is what happens when your doubles partner leaves you "out to dry" by hitting a short lob to the guy who's stalking 6 feet in front of you at the net.

Someone please teach Jack Sock to Dress
I'm watching The Italian Open and Jack Sock is wearing a bright blue shirt (too large), black shorts, black socks and white shoes. Yes, WHITE shoes. Is the dude blind. Oh yeah, and tell him to shave his fucking face ! There's a reason Roger Federer's sponsorship deals increased 300% after he got his ponytail cut off and started shaving daily.
